LEGAL BACKGROUND
Efficient waste management offers your company numerous benefits: it saves resources, reduces costs, improves your environmental performance and ensures legally compliant processes.
Not least, Section 59 of the German Circular Economy Act (Kreislaufwirtschaftsgesetz, KrWG) requires operators of facilities in which waste is generated and/or disposed of to appoint Waste Management Officers. This key role falls to the Waste Management Officer, who ensures that processes, regulations and strategies are implemented efficiently.
